An audio-visual installation combining generative technology and quantitative data from social media.
The video component of Mantiche is created by scraping tweets from major news websites and using a Markov chain technology to mix and reorder them into a flow of new, dishorienting statements. The music is generated by feeding instruments with permutations from a database of gregorian choral music.
