Homs und IchSoundtrack

The story of a siege. Sulaiman Tadmory is 23 when Assad’s army surrounds the old town of Homs overnight. When he wakes up, he is in a besieged city. With his camera, the director documents a day-to-day existence that gets steadily more and more unbearable across two years, and shows how a fear of dying becomes in wartime a fear of surviving. Marco‘s soundtrack for this NDR documentary combines piano trio experiments with manipulated sounds extracted from Tadmory‘s original recordings.
